About Humdinger Words for Whippersnappers and Guttersnipes

Step into the poetic classroom of the UK's most entertaining supply teacher, as he welcomes you into a world of witty wordplay, tantalising trivia, megaLOLs and even rhyming magic! Humdinger Words for Whippersnappers and Guttersnipes is a PG hour of comedy-cabaret poetry led by stage hypnotist turned teacher, Ben Dali. Presented as a school day, this is a fast-paced journey through elements of the KS2 and KS3 curriculum. 'Mr Dali' combines poetry, comedy and insights into his eclectic background to deliver epic poems he wrote aged 7, a balloon-modelling tutorial poem, a joyful exploration of English's finest 'Humdinger Words', and genuine improvised rhyming mind reading. Designed for intellectually curious and creative 7–14 year-olds, the whole family will leave entertained, educated and inspired. The show includes a supportive Show-and-Tell segment, where children are invited to perform their own poems. So, budding young wordsmiths desirous of a platform: come prepared to share.
