About Trauma: An Exhibition

Trauma: An Exhibition Trauma isn’t just a moment we experience, feel, carry — it’s a texture. A glitch. A bruise on the everyday. This art event explores what we carry, what we hide, and what is handed down through bodies, rooms, families, borders, and institutions. Through work that’s bold, raw, and sometimes sardonic, we’ll explore trauma as both intensely personal and quietly collective—the kind that lives in memory, language, movement, paperwork, and silence. Expect an experience that doesn’t “inspire” you out of pain or tidy it into a neat ending. This is art that remains complex: fractures, repairs, repetitions, the politics of who is believed, and the strange creativity of survival. Some pieces will pull you in softly. Others might catch you off guard. All of them ask the same question: what happens when we stop treating trauma as a private problem — and start seeing it as a social one? Come for the artistic vulnerability. Art by Blood N Guts Murphy and Broken Glass.
