How baffling that people hear Charlie as she enunciates her name Rushali (ROO-SHA-LEE) - In this debut comedy hour a cacophony unveils as you uncover that yes it is rude to call an Indian Aunty - “a peanut eating pachyderm”. Just like New York City’s sewer covers, Rushali was made in India - right in the heart of Bollywood - Mumbai. She smuggled herself(legally) into the USA in her twenties only to find herself in Amsterdam’s comedy scene (no, not the red light district.. cmon.. what a cliche!) attempting to make the Dutch laugh - a feat not for the faint hearted. As she navigates this world wondering if her dead grandmother is controlling it - she pays homage to Bollywood as one rightfully must when they are born dancing to it's tunes.
