Rob Preston is Bobby Prezinsky: Unity Concert for Peace

The show is a character comedy hour following Bobby Prezinsky: a hungry, wannabe presenter desperate to host something - anything - of global significance. Convinced the world is irreparably broken, Bobby decides the only solution is to stage a vast, world-changing Unity Concert for Peace, despite having absolutely no qualifications or experience. We follow Bobby’s attempts to pull the concert together. Along the way, he encounters a series of characters keen to exploit his naivety and take advantage of his perceived momentum: Jacques De Klerk, the slick CEO of influencer marketing agency VibesTalent; Gregory Onions, a former Royal Marine turned motivational speaker; and Pieter Verkels, a Belgian dating coach, among others. The show blends extended character monologues with quickfire sketches, all anchored by Bobby’s delusional but sincere optimism and belief that his concert can change the world.
