Bach’s D minor Concerto unleashes relentless drive and shadowed intensity whilst the thunderous rhythms and haunting lyricism of Caponetto’s new piano concerto pull you into worlds of fierce urgency and electrifying brilliance. Matthew Shiel is award-winning pianist who has collaborated with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra (broadcast on BBC Radio 3), The Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marine Band Scotland and has been broadcast on Al Jazeera. Matthew will conduct his acclaimed Candlelight Orchestra from the piano as Mozart and Bach did for an unforgettable evening of musical elegance.
