About In conversation with Duncan Lustig-Prean

An informal conversation with much humour and the chance for the audience to ask questions. Join renowned former BBC Radio 4 presenter, Nigel Wrench in conversation with Duncan Lustig-Prean. He led the campaign for LGBT people to serve in the Armed Forces and subsequently changed the law on two further occasions. He investigated racism in the Armed Forces and conceived the idea of women having full career opportunities in the forces and helped the fight to restore their medals. He ensured that the global majority was better represented by English Heritage and runs a charity supporting LGBT veterans. Somehow he finds the time to chair Brighton Fringe. From opera singer to becoming "one of the most influential naval officers of the last 50 years; he did not just change the law, he changed the culture of the United Kingdom's armed forces." (First Sea Lord) The proceeds of this event are donated to the charity, Brighton Fringe.
