About Fasted
What do you see when you look in the mirror? A true likeness or a body fat with shame and self-loathing? Fasted takes us on a journey from a ballet school in Northern England to an austere fasting centre in Soviet Russia, overseen by the charismatic yet flawed Ivanov. Our protagonist, the ballerina Nina Glover, goes in search of a solution to her dysfunctional self-perception. Her search is hindered by the unwanted attention of an admirer, Conrad Salt, a fellow ballet student, who follows her, believing his romantic intensity will win her heart.
