About Dr. Jimmy Lyons: Existential Physics (or Why the Universe is Gay) Work In Progress
Dr. Jimmy has one aim: to discover the ultimate Theory of Everything (or become the first gay man to win a Nobel Prize in Physics). Why are waves gay? Particles straight? And quantum mechanics the ultimate textbook guide to being bisexual? Why are quarks queer? Tops difficult to observe? And bottoms ARE LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. Dr. Jimmy collides HARDCORE physics with queerness and existential dread as he scales the peak of all knowledge in this world-famous lecture. Along the way, he'll demonstrate his ground-breaking inventions, such as the ‘Pansychinator,’ which lets him communicate with all forms of matter, and his pièce de résistance: the Parallel-o-scope. This device scans the multiverse and connects him with alternate versions of himself - like Dr. Jimmie (spelt ‘ie’), or inevitably, a more successful and fulfilled Dr. Jimmy. So, join Dr. Jimmy at the frontier of human knowledge and stand naked (literally) before the universe. 16+ welcome at 3pm on Sat. 9th May
